Additional Remuneration of Government Officials 2012
Description
Additional rewards of government officials are possible in the form of special rewards (attribution—
collection of a one-off or periodic supplement) or an increase in the fixed salary. With
in view of the desired austerity and balance in the distribution, a policy framework for the award of additional rewards has been in place since 2010. Officials may receive a supplement for a variety of reasons:
• Labour market considerations;
• Special achievements;
• Special function characteristics.
