Description
The records include a record of the axis of national roads and crossings, technical data on national roads and facilities on them, and a record of traffic data. Records of national roads are kept and maintained by the Directorate of Infrastructure of the Republic of Slovenia.
The basis of the record is the graphic layer of the axis of national roads with attribute data on roads, sections and stationary distances (kilometres) on sections. Other data from the records of state roads (e.g. code roads, lane no., driving surface material, traffic loads, etc.) are kept as attribute data, where the location on the section is determined via stationary positions. There is also a graphical layer of the location of intersections — the junctions of the axes of categorised roads with eight other categorised or uncategorised roads or other characteristic points where the section of the road changes.
