Register of Societies in the Public Interest
Description
The register of associations in the public interest is intended for the registration and public publication of data on associations that are granted the status of society in the public interest. The records are kept by the ministries, each for those societies that have granted them status.
Until December 2018, the register of associations in the public interest was under the responsibility of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. On the basis of the Non-Governmental Organisations Act (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, No 21/18), AJPES is responsible for keeping these records or records of non-governmental organisations in the public interest.
