Description
The eleventh in a series of comprehensive bottom trawl surveys of groundfish resources in the Gulf of Alaska (GOA) region was conducted from May 18 through July 31, 2009, by the Resource Assessment and Conservation Engineering (RACE) Division of the Alaska Fisheries Science Center (AFSC), Seattle, Washington. Since 1999 this survey has been conducted biennially; earlier surveys were conducted triennially between 1984 and 1999.
