Sea Surface Temperature - MFG - Indian Ocean 57 degrees E
Description
The Sea Surface Temperature (SST) product is generated for every segment where the sea surface is visible, using the low resolution 80 x 80 segment matrix. Each product is generated twice daily and contains an accumulation of data from the preceding 12 hour period. Land segments, and those segments with continuous cloud cover during the period of observation are excluded. A typical product contains around 1200 segment values.
