OSCAT-3 L2b ISRO wind product - Oceansat-3
Description
Level 2b wind products produced by ISRO, containing surface winds on a grid with 25km resolution. Product format is HDF5.
The OSCAT-3 instrument is a technically improved version of the OSCAT instrument flown onboard Oceansat-2 and ScatSat-1. The technical specifications are: Ku-Band (13.515 GHz), conical scanning pencil beam scatterometer, two beams with incidence angles 48.9° and 57.6°, scan rate 20.5 rpm, swath > 1400 km.
