Cloud Phase RGB - MTG - 0 degree

Description

Cloud Phase is an RGB that aims to separate water clouds from ice clouds and provide information on cloud-top particle size during daytime. It more reliably separates water clouds from ice clouds than the current SEVIRI RGBs. In the case of thick ice and water clouds, the Cloud Phase RGB provides good colour contrast between cloud-top regions covered by small and large particles. This RGB is generated by using NIR1.6, NIR2.25 and VIS0.6 bands. The data are not declared operational, and users receiving these new data through any dissemination means assume all risks related to their use of MTG-I1 data.
