AVHRR Atmospheric Motion Vectors (BUFR) - Metop - Global
Description
Tropospheric winds derived globally using the tandem configuration of METOP-A and METOP-B AVHRR instruments. Two complementary products are generated considering either Metop-A or Metop-B as the reference platform. Atmospheric motion vectors (AMVs) are a valuable observation type for providing dynamical information for forecast models.
Metop-A data are available in the Data Centre up to 15/11/2021.
