AVHRR Atmospheric Motion Vectors (triplet mode) (BUFR) - Metop - Polar

Description

Tropospheric winds derived from the Metop AVHRR instrument IR 10.8 channel, and using 3 consecutive images from the two current Metop satellites. Atmospheric motion vectors (AMVs) are a valuable observation type for providing dynamical information for forecast models. Metop-A data are available in the Data Centre up to 15/11/2021.
