Energinet purchases FFR per hour through daily auctions in a national market.

The forecast per hour for the next operating day (d + 1) is the quantity purchased in the auction for the coming operating day.
Suppliers who wants to bid for FFR capacity must have approved the technical properties of the facilities before bidding: Prequalification and test.
