Description
The Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) measures price changes of various consumer goods and services over time (inflation). This dataset comprises:
- the average index, which is the average of the monthly HICP indices in a calendar year, and
- the annual average rate of change, which is the average of the monthly consumer price indices over a calendar year compared to the average of the monthly consumer price indices over the previous calendar year
