The data in this submission along with other data was used to reach the conclusion that the observed community-level shifts resulted from the physical transport of distinct microbial communities from other fracture(s) that outpaced environmental selection. More information in the link. |

The data presented in the spreadsheet (tab 1) refer to the concentrations of major cations and anions over time, as displayed in Fig. S12 in the PNAS paper. Electrical conductivities (EC) of the samples (tab 2) were estimated based on ionic molar conductivity and the measured ionic concentrations following established methods (Fig. S13 of the PNAS paper). |

In this paper, the authors sampled three flowing boreholes weekly for 10 months in a 1478-m-deep fractured rock aquifer to study the role of fracture activity (defined as seismically or aseismically induced fracture aperture change) and advection on fluid-associated microbial community composition. The geochemistry data from this submission is plotted against sampling time in Fig S12. |

The primary objective is to increase the understanding needed to efficiently implement enhanced geothermal systems (EGS) through creating a collaborative research environment in which to study simulation of crystalline rock at the 10 meter scale. This is the larger collaboration for the PNAS paper that includes the data from this submission. More information in the link. |
