ODyC Guyana, Coastline Surveys on Macouria Area
Description
Status of coastline surveys carried out by the French Guiana Coast Dynamic Observatory on the Macouria sector. The coastline is defined as the boundary between the top of the beach and the rear beach. This limit can be materialised by: the foot of the microfalaise if an erosion front is present; the foot of the layout if a work is present; the vegetation limit and/or the sea lead limit. The expected acquisition frequency of the Coast Dynamic Observatory is annual, around October (dry season). The currently identified dataset includes the lifts from 2018 to 2021. Next scheduled update, following the 2022 surveys.
