State measuring network groundwater level
Description
The task of the Land Groundwater Service quantitatively is to continuously collect, process and provide data on groundwater levels and springs of all supraregionally important aquifers for government planning and monitoring activities and for the transfer to non-governmental bodies. For this purpose, the Bavarian water management administration operates, among other things, the groundwater level measuring network with more than 600 measuring points at present. The data is used for an overview of the location of measuring points of the groundwater level in Bavaria.
