Land use in the coastal strip in 1950
Description
The AUDeG has initiated the creation of a historical reference for land use from the historical Ortho® BD Guiana 1950. To date, 2 sets of data are available:
— urban task in 1950,
— linear road/track in 1950.
It should be noted that the interpretation has sometimes been delicate due to the quality (black and white) and the resolution of the mosaic used.
The historical French Guiana 1950 BD Ortho® was produced from photographs from the PVA “1950_GUYANE_1_P_40000” and “1950_GUYANE_2_P_40000”. It covers an approximately 6 000 km² right-of-way on the coast between Roura and Awala-Yalimapo/Saint-Laurent du Maroni.
