Potential of bicycle highways in Flanders
Description
Bicycle highways are intensively usable continuous cycle routes between cities and major attraction poles, equipped with high-quality infrastructure. The bicycle highway network is a desired network: Some bicycle highways already exist, but others have yet to be realized. The potential of a bicycle highway indicates how many of the vehicle kilometres in Flanders can potentially take place on a bicycle highway. In the visualization of the WMS service, the cycling potential is divided into six categories; five classes with equal numbers (quantiles), with the lowest category being picked up for the extra class (0-25).
