3D-models of loose rock in Lower Saxony - Lower Saxony Coast
Description
In order to be able to connect land-based Lower Saxony 3D models of the LBEG with the Lower Saxony coastal area, the model areas of the Quaternary submodel from the project "Geopotential German North Sea (GPDN)" were used as the basis for the 3D model "Lower Saxony Coast" (NK) and partly revised. Approximately 10,000 boreholes from the Lower Saxony drilling database and about 300 seismic profiles were used to create the entire North Sea model (GPDN). After adapting the areas to the state border of Lower Saxony, existing data from 3D models of the LBEG have been incorporated.
