Description
District heating is the term for a supply of heat for the supply of buildings with heating and hot water. The thermal energy is transported in a thermally insulated pipe system, which is mostly ground-mounted, but in some cases overhead lines are also used. Stadtwerke Göttingen AG supplies only warm water to the houses, which is produced in three large heating plants distributed across the city.
