Michaeliskarte 1:50'000 from 1849

The four geocoded sheets of the Michaelis map on a scale of 1:50,000 (black and white) are available in AGIS as a composite raster file. On the original pages there are 10 profiles, which are accessible with the file "Profiles of the Michaeliskarte 1:50'000" (mipr). After the creation of the coloured Mikhai map on a scale of 1:25,000, the Aargau government had Michaelis make an identical map in 4 sheets in hatching style on a scale of 1:50,000. This was engraved in copper in Paris and printed in two colours in 1849 in an edition of 2000 copies.
