Bioindication by leaf and needle analyses of trees in the Linz area
Description
This publication describes the picture that emerges from the analysis of leaves and needles from the greater Linz area of the environmental situation of this urban industrial agglomeration in 1996. As the third largest city in Austria1 and as the location of voestalpine Stahl GmbH and other well-known companies in the chemical and metal industries, this area is subject to considerable emissions of substances into the atmosphere.
