Hydrogeological stratigraphy (HCOVv1)
Description
The hydrostratigraphy shows, based on the (coded) lithology, a classification according to the aquifer or non-aquifer properties of a certain described depth interval. This interpretation respects the lithostratigraphy of the Tertiary, but divides it differently. The standard used for this is the Hydrogeological Coding of the Subsurface of Flanders (HCOV). This can be considered as the official hydrogeological coding for the Flemish Region.
