NUTS3 Borders Vorarlberg

Description

NUTS is the abbreviation for ‘Nomenclature des unités territoriales statistiques’. This is a hierarchically structured nomenclature of territorial units for statistics, which divides the territory of the EU into territorial units at 3 levels. It is the basis for regional statistical evaluation and regional support within the EU. In the NUTS3 level there are groups of districts, i.e. several municipalities are grouped together.
