Mussel benches in the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea 2010. As part of the Miesmuschel Management Plan, annual mapping of the eulitoral mussel benches in the Wadden Sea of Lower Saxony was carried out. The recording was carried out by stereoscopic evaluation of aerial images. The flyovers took place throughout the spring and summer respectively. Blue Mustel beds in the Wadden Sea of Lower Saxony 2010. The Intertidal Blue Mustel beds were determined Yearly in the scope of the blue mussel management plan. Aerial surveys were carried out and aerial photographs were analysed by using a stereoscope to detect the mussel beds.
