Vegetation Index (NDVI) of Andalusia. Seasonal Average, 2006 (NOAA AVHRR)
Description
Seasonal average of NDVI calculated from NOAA satellite images captured by the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) sensor. The AVHRR sensor collects information in 5 spectral bands: visible, near-infrared and 3 in thermal infrared, all with a resolution of 1000 m. The 2006 seasonal average of NDVI is calculated from monthly averages, grouping December 2005, January and February 2006 in winter; March, April and May 2006 in spring; June, July and August 2006 in summer; September, October and November 2006 in autumn.
