Description
Species of Community interest are a set of species selected as particularly relevant for the conservation of biodiversity in the European Union. Its protection is covered by Directive 92/43/EEC or the Habitats Directive.
This set of data shows its geographical scope, evaluated in the period 2013 to 2018, according to the information provided by the competent administrations.
The extent of this distribution is a key factor when it comes to knowing its territorial trends and thus contributing to maintaining or achieving a favourable conservation area status in the biogeographical region as a whole.
