Fisheries Regulation Areas of Cantabria. Inland waters

Delimitation of fishing regulatory areas in inland waters covered by the Order of 29 June 2001 regulating professional sea fishing in inland waters of Cantabria.These inland waters of Cantabria (the straight baselines) are in turn delimited by Royal Decree 2510/1977 of 5 August 1977 on jurisdictional waters.The inland waters of Cantabria cover:(a) Permitted areas:1. Areas in which fishing with gillnets and longlines and purse seine is permitted, taking into account the prohibitions referred to in Article 7 of the Order of 29 June 2001 regulating professional sea fishing within the inland waters of Cantabria. Permitted areas for catching live bait for tuna, taking into account the specifications of Article 13 of the Order of 29 June 2001 regulating professional sea fishing within inland waters of Cantabria.(b) Prohibited areas:1. Areas in which fishing with gillnets and longlines is prohibited, as well as in the form of purse seines, in accordance with Article 7 of the Order of 29 June 2001 regulating professional sea fishing within the inland waters of Cantabria. Areas in which the capture of live bait for tuna is prohibited, in accordance with the limitations referred to in Article 13 of the Order of 29 June 2001 regulating professional sea fishing within the internal waters of Cantabria. Areas in which the capture of crustaceans by longline baiting pots is prohibited, based on the limitations laid down in Article 14 of the Order of 29 June 2001 regulating professional sea fishing within the inland waters of Cantabria.
