Basic Functional Priorities of the Prignitz-Oberhavel Region

Description

The factual sub-plan "Basic Functional Priorities" defines and secures Basic Functional Priorities (GSP) in the districts of Oberhavel, Ostprignitz-Ruppin and Prignitz. The Regional Planning Community Prignitz-Oberhavel hereby implements a corresponding mandate of the State Development Plan Capital Region Berlin-Brandenburg (Z 3.3 LEP HR). GSPs are by far the most well-equipped districts (main towns) in a region. Planning incentives are intended to secure facilities for daily needs that go beyond local supply. Against this background, GSP will be given additional development opportunities for residential and large-scale retail facilities. A total of 22 districts are defined as GSP. The plan was published in the Official Journal for Brandenburg – No . 51 of 23. Announced in December 2020.
