ATKIS-DTK100 Saxony-Anhalt
Description
Topographic maps are maps that describe the Earth’s surface in its various manifestations – settlements, traffic routes, borders, waters, terrain forms and vegetation – in accordance with the map scale. Signatures and map fonts help to explain the topographical objects.
The topographic map in scale 1:100 000 is produced using the method “Digitally guided topographic map (ATKIS-DTK)” based on the digital landscape model 1:50 000 (ATKIS-DLM50). It complies with the German-wide requirements for map content, geodetic basis, character key and layout.
The update takes place in periodic cycles.
