Description
File indicates in which areas climate services for climate goals can be compensated through agricultural nature and landscape management. Zones to temporarily retain water so that flooding is prevented elsewhere. In addition, climate measures focus on sustainable soil management; increasing the organic matter content of the soil so that more water can be retained that can be released in times of drought. Minerals are also retained so that less leaching to the subsurface and watercourses takes place, which improves the quality of soil and surface water. Soil is the basis of circular agriculture. The use of rough manure or crop residues increases the organic matter in the soil. This part of the Amended Draft Nature Management Plan 2024 for the management year 2025 was adopted on 17 April 2024 and from 1 May 2024 the period of view starts.
