Survey - Cultural Strategy 2030. of the City of Vienna
Description
On the initiative of the city councillor for culture and science Veronica Kaup-Hasler, a cultural policy strategy for the city of Vienna up to the year 2030 was developed in a comprehensive communication process. In this participatory process with workshops, dialogue forums and discussions, fundamental goals were formulated in exchange with experts and representatives of the art and cultural scene and eight central fields of action were developed:
* Diversity and Equality
* Crisis-resilient art & culture
* Cultural infrastructure and new spaces
* Climate compatibility and sustainability
* Affordable culture and inclusive participation
Fair Pay and Social Security
* Contemporary culture of remembrance and remembrance
* Digitization in Art & Culture
In June 2023, SORA was commissioned to query these fields of action through a representative survey of the Viennese resident population on their assessment of importance. In addition, the cultural use of the Wiener:innen 2022/23 was examined: From the beginning of August to mid-September, 1,005 Viennese citizens aged 15 and over were interviewed by telephone and online – with the possibility of taking part in the survey in German or English.
