Reduction of air pollutants at construction sites
Description
With this report, the Federal Environment Agency provides contracting authorities with the basis for building tenders that can be used to reduce the emissions of air pollutants at construction sites. Possible measures to reduce air pollution, derived from Austrian and European guides and studies, are checked to see whether they are practicable and feasible and whether they can also be controlled. The legal situation for contracts and already implemented specifications as well as their compliance with construction sites are also collected. To support tenders, the report offers text modules that include award criteria, selection and mandatory criteria and contractual clauses with sanctions possibilities, among other things, and concern construction site traffic, recycling and demolition work.
