LGRB-BW HK50: Pore aquifers
Description
It shows the area-by-area distribution of thicker, predominantly sandy gravelly quaternary loose rocks (pore aquifers, PGWL). In principle, groundwater deposits are to be expected in these deposits. The designated pore aquifers, in conjunction with the hydrogeological map without surface layers, reveal a contact of a solid rock aquifer with a pore aquifer and can thus provide indications of a possible interrelationship between the groundwater bodies in these units (except in the Upper Rhine Graben and the Alpine Vorkand).
