Calas Plan: Cork quality maps. Andalusia
Description
With the main objective of the progressive characterization of the quality of Andalusian cork, since 2001 data are being obtained on the quality of cork in Andalusia obtained in the different annual programs of the Calas Plan within the Cork and Cork Service in Andalusia. As a result of this work, maps of distribution of cork quality in Andalusia have been prepared. The content includes the map updated to 2021, in addition to the maps for the years 2020, 2016 and 2010. In them the quality of cork is collected in 5 categories, classified from 1 to 5 where 1 represents the minimum quality and five the maximum.
Attached are some documents in pdf with the results of the work carried out: Evolution of Cork Quality (reports of 2013 and 2017), the results of the Calas Plan (2013) and a manual for the management of the Calas Plan program in Google Earth.
In the same way, the quality reports of the cork of different public mountains of Andalusia made between 2015 and 2021 are included.
