WMS service corresponding to the K490 filtered seasonal average AQUA MODIS satellite imagery for the year 2016. Spatial resolution 1 100 m. Area Atlantic Ocean and Alboran Sea. In ETRS89 UTM spindle 30. With the purpose of obtaining seasonal images of K490 (m-1) on the Andalusian coast. The diffuse attenuation coefficient in the water indicates how light is attenuated within the water column, which helps to characterise the transparency of the water and therefore estimate the turbidity state of the waters of the Andalusian coast. In addition, this parameter has many applications in ocean optics, such as its relationship with the concentration of phytoplankton and organic and inorganic sediments dissolved in marine water.
