Description

The ATOM Feed Download Service for climate locations Wuppertal provides a dataset for download, which includes the descriptions of 118 point-shaped best practice examples for climate protection in Wuppertal (as of 08/2021). They were collected by the Coordination Agency for Climate Protection of the City of Wuppertal in the period Q4/2020 to Q2/2021 as a data basis for the interactive map application “Climate Map Wuppertal”. The climate map also presents the line-shaped railway pathways from the Open Data data set “Radrouten Wuppertal”. These are not included in the dataset of climate locations. The data set assigns one or more thematically categorised offers to the locations of organisations, institutions and facilities. Categorisation uses a two-step model (topic/category). Several locations can be located in the same geographical position, e.g. in a building where several climate protection organisations reside. The continuation of the data set takes place irregularly, respectively promptly after identification of a new or alteration of an existing climate location. The update of the data accessed by the download service is carried out every week in a fixed turn. The data set provided is available in Shape, KML, and GeoJSON format under an open data license (CC BY 4.0).
