Cycling network Hamburg

Description

The data set contains the cycling facilities of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. Since this is a routable data set, not only classic cycling systems (cycle paths, cycle lanes, protective lanes, etc.) are recorded, but also roads and paths that can be used by cyclists. Furthermore, footpaths are also recorded if they fill gaps in the cycling network as so-called sliding routes. The following attributes are provided: - Status (operation, temporary installation, ...) - street name - Type (separated footpath/bicycle path, common footpath/bicycle path, cycle lanes, protective strip, mixed traffic road up to 30 km/h, pedestrian zone...) - Class (bicycle lane, cycle lane, protective lane, cycle lane, paths in green areas, mixed traffic road, sliding track, others) - Temporal limitation - Obligation to use - direction of travel (in geometry direction, in both directions) - surface (bituminous ceiling, water-bound ceiling, artificial stone, natural stone, ...) - Width in m - Obstacle (passability given, bypass possible, ...) - Level (level, tunnel, ...) The visualization in the WMS and thus also in the geoportal is based on the attribute class. In order to increase clarity, the data is divided into seven different layers, which are based on the classes. Long-term, e.g. due to construction measures, blocked paths are not published in the data set.
