Mussel seed capture facilities WFS
Description
Nationally owned plots on which mussel seed collection facilities are permitted. A mussel seed capture plant (MZI) is a structure anchored in the soil consisting of ropes and network, which captures mussel brood in the water column. This mussel brood (also known as mussel seed) is harvested from the construction and further cultivated into consumer mussels on shellfish parcels.
