Weather forecast HARMONIE-AROME — pressure surfaces
Description
The data includes the latest weather forecast data produced using the HARMONIE-AROME weather model produced by the Finnish Meteorological Institute for pressure surfaces. The material covers atmospheric quantities on standard pressure surfaces (1000, 925, 850, 700, 500.300 hPa) e.g. temperature, relative humidity, wind direction/speed/horizontal components and geopotential height. The Harmonie-AROME weather model is run four times a day (00, 06, 12 and 18 UTC), each with a forecast length of 66 hours. Harmony-AROME is a so-called limited-area model whose counting area covers the Scandinavian region, the Norwegian Sea and the Baltic region. The horizontal lattice used in the model is 2.5 km. The coordinate system used to calculate the model is in Lambert’s projection.
