Conditions for landslides in fine-grained soils (display service)
Description
The viewing service displays the data set Prerequisites for landslides in fine-grained soils and provides comprehensive information on the conditions for landslides in fine soils. The information is intended to be used in the early planning phase to identify areas where landslide hazards may occur and where further assessments/investigations may need to be made.
The information is based on a calculation algorithm that, based on soil type (according to SGU's product Soils 1:25 000 - 1:100 000), terrain model (Lantmäteriet's national elevation model) and critical slope (1:10), defines areas of fine-grained soil that have conditions for landslides.
