Main structure: Landscape zones
Description
The valuable historical-landscape areas concern parts of carved features (see map 2.a Landscape, features). Depending on the score on the rating, a value is assigned, namely: very high value (red); high value (orange); reasonably high value (yellow). Most landscape types in South Holland (e.g. peat extraction, dry mackery, sea clay polder) are - at provincial level - not particularly rare. As a result, they usually do not score higher than 'high value' if they are sufficiently cool and coherent. Parts of landscapes can - in cool condition - score higher.
