District Gütersloh: Biotope cadastre
Description
Data of the LANUV (Landesamt für Natur, Umwelt und Verbraucherschutz) NRW (Landesamt für Natur, Umwelt und Verbraucherschutz) NRW on biotop-mapped areas. The nationwide biotope mapping has provided important basic information on biotopes worthy of protection in North Rhine-Westphalia since 1978. These areas represent valuable habitats for rare and endangered animal and plant species and thus contribute to survival. Biotopes worthy of protection are recorded and described in the context of field surveys (maps) in the landscape. The dataset consists of two shape files (area and lines). For each object there is a data sheet with information.
