Support for herd protection dogs as part of the “Promotion Directive Investment Herd Protection Wolf” (FöRIHW)
Description
The funding framework for herd protection dogs is the municipalities in which the purchase of herd protection dogs under the funding directive Investment Herdenschutz Wolf (FöRIHW) is supported with up to EUR 3,000 per dog. Due to the longer start-up time for the integration of the dogs into the farms and the herds of livestock, this funding backdrop is considered in a larger area than the support for fences.
