11st PROGRAMME: WATERCOURSE PRIORITY 2
Description
Different zoning has been defined to guide the implementation of the Agency’s intervention policies during the period 2019-2024.
Depending on the case, they correspond to:
eligibility criteria, i.e. projects must be located in the defined area in order to be eligible for Agency aid or an increase in the Agency’s aid rate;
priority criteria, i.e. depending on the area in which the projects are located, they are given priority or not to receive assistance from the Agency, in case the cumulative amounts of the different applications exceed the available budget envelope.
Streams:
In a logic of hydromorphological costs/benefits, in order to identify the rivers with the strongest ecological stakes at the level of the Artois-Picardie Basin, a priority zoning has been defined based on the following elements:
identified in the Master Plan of Water Management and Management, in particular according to the classification of Article L. 214-17 of the Environmental Code;
located in priority “eel” action areas;
or with biological reservoirs.
These priority criteria are used to prioritise projects that seek assistance from the Agency for watercourse work (maintenance, restoration and restoration of ecological continuity).
