Partial New-Aquitaine: Dams

Description

Dikes in ex-Aquitaine and ex-Poitou-Charentes. Data compiled from the Hydraulic Works Information System (SIOUH). Dike Ranking: protection dikes may be classified by prefectural decree. The classification is organised into four classes (A to D) according to the consequences in the event of a break in the dam. (see Decree No 2007-1735)
