Pensioners and average pensions in Finland

Description

This dataset is related to Kela's statistical database Kelasto's dynamic report on pensioners and average pensions in Finland. The dataset contains end-of-year data from 2003 onwards. The dataset contains information on the number of pensioners in the national and/or earnings-related pension system and the average total pensions. Pensions paid abroad are also included. The data are classified by benefit, gender, age group, pension system, country of residence and municipality of residence. The data include pension recipients who have been paid a pension from the national and/or earnings-related pension system during the statistical reference month. The total pension may consist of the national pension and the earnings-related pension, as well as the related pensions paid or guaranteed under the Motor Insurance Act, the Workers' Compensation Act and the Military Accident and Service Sickness Act. The total pension also includes child increases, front-line allowances and, until 2007, housing and care allowances for pensioners.
