Air quality data

Description

For Berlin, up-to-date and historical measurement data from the Berlin air quality network are particularly relevant for limit value-relevant air pollutants according to 39. BImSchV ready. Available data include gaseous air pollutants (nitrogen oxides, ozone, carbon monoxide, benzene, toluene and sulphur dioxide) and particulate air pollutants (PM10 particles, PM2.5 particles). Furthermore, overviews of the current air quality index, the daily measured values and the annual number of limit value exceedances are available. There are several ways to download the data: A residual API can be used to automatically query data. Documentation is available for this purpose. Furthermore, the data can be downloaded directly in CSV format via the website luftdaten.berlin.de. Depending on the air pollutant, four to eight variants of aggregate data are available. For the automatically measured components, these are at least hourly values, daily values, monthly values and annual values. All information subject to reservation. The measured values are still subject to quality control and, if necessary, can be corrected.
