WFS Administrative Territories 1:5 000 000 — as at 01.01.
Description
The download service of the administrative areas 1:5 000 000 as of 01.01. is available for the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The service comprises the administrative units of the hierarchical levels from the state to the municipalities with their boundaries, key statistical figures, the names of the administrative unit and the specific name of the administrative level of the country concerned.
The highly generalised geometry of the administrative units is primarily used to map statistical evaluations.
The data are organised on a level basis (state, Länder, administrative districts, districts, administrative communities and municipalities) and the areas included carry directly the attributive information.
The copyrighted data is made available free of charge under the German designation 2.0 data license. Scale: 1:5000000
