Reportable diseases since 2002

Description

On January 1, 2001, the Act for the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases in Human Beings (Infection Protection Act - IfSG) came into force nationwide. According to this, certain diseases/pathogens must be reported. Reportable diseases have been listed since 2002.

According to the law on prevention and control of infectious diseases, certain diseases/pathogens must be reported since January 1st, 2001. Notifiable diseases since 2002 are listed.

Notes:

  • Reporting obligation since 2013: Whooping cough/pertussis, mumps, chickenpox
  • Scabies has only appeared sporadically for 90 years. Increasing since 2017.
