Geographical map of Brandenburg, map of the year 1773
Description
The map titled — New geographical map of the Brandenburg Markschaft... — was drawn in 1773 by Francois Lois Güssfeld, stabbed by Sebastian Dorn and published at that time by Homann’s heirs in Nuremberg. It sets the region on a scale of approx. 1: 625 000. Some of the adjoining areas are not shown. The LGB copied the old colored copper engraving. The reproduction took place in cooperation with the Brandenburg State Archives. There is the original copper engraving, which served as a template. The card has a size of 74 cm x 68 cm.
