Description
A closed landfill is a landfill that has been declared closed by the competent authority. A competent authority may declare a landfill closed because the landfilling of waste has ended and the requirements of the environmental permit for that facility have been complied with. This file was adopted by the Provincial Council on 15 November 2023 and will enter into force on 1 January 2024 under the Environment Act.
